The confection of Tasca Saloia’s meals was inspired in the Portuguese tapas concept, based in the traditional receipt that was losing over the years.

The design is of a Portuguese “tasca” from the past century although with actual details.

Micas - Gelado Artesanal

Her name was Maria da Purificação. But in Sintra, everyone knew her as ‘Micas’. She had the hands of a confectioner and avocation:turning recipes into gestures of affection. It was among fine sugar and fragrant spices that she taught her son Pedro a great life lesson,one that is worth a thousand flavours:

"Work hard. Serve with soul. And if you can, sweeten the world a little.

This is how Micas - Gelado Artesanal was born, with a pastry heart. Inspired by Sintra, pastry tradition, each flavour is born from memory, but tastes like the present and the future.Travesseiro and Queijada become ice cream. And Pastel de Nata is eaten fresh, in a cone or with a spoon.
